If you rewatch it, she lets out a small blast of air on impact to just barely cushion the one big fall. And if you watch the commentary on that ep, they even suggest that that one fall likely contributed to her paralysis more so than the poison. So it's not like there isn't serious consequences to it.

Compare this to the original series, where characters were constantly falling from comical heights and getting thrown into (or through) solid rock without lasting damage, especially in Book 1 and the early parts of Book 2. Hell, Zuko once got shot into the air for like five full seconds and smacked facedown onto the pavement with no damage. I think our minds get geared to be more critical of fall damage in LoK because the creators actually took steps to be mindful of it this time around, whereas we naturally accept TLA to be more cartoonish about it.
