Then what is it?

An extremist group

What have then done that's remotely extremist?

Besides murder, assault, & property destruction

Yes, when has the organization done these things.

Ferguson, Baltimore, North Carolina, Milwaukee, Dallas. Just off the top of my head.

BLM leaders and members have always condemned violence of any kind, so you really can't pin any murders or assaults against them.

Now, as for property destruction, if BLM is such a violent, extremist group, shouldn't the dozens of cities that have official BLM chapters have in increase in property damage? You only picked the cities with massive protests from BLM and other groups, where there's been a high-profile killing. And you think BLM is responsible for all that property damage? Individuals riot. Some random guy is the one breaking stuff, it's not a coordinated attack by BLM members. Again, BLM doesn't advocate violence or destruction by any means.
