No planning involved, so I had no thoughts of actually winning, just adding cards and if they work together, great, if not, oh well, I still get my quest done. So I jumped into casual to try my luck. Turns out it's fun to Steward of Darkshire -> Stand Against Darkness, followed by Bolvar Fireblood on the next turn.
