All I can say is my first job as an entry level sales grunt was exactly 50k (36 base + 14 target commission). I can't speak to jobs like administrative assistants or HR recruiters or anything like that. Commission was uncapped though and I definitely did over 100% quota, so the year I worked there I was indeed over the average. Ofc my new job is up by 5k or so, so yes, I make more than average. Live alone, no kids, nothing to drain from that delicious paycheck --- Not changing this sig until Pat Benatar is in Super Smash Bros.
