All of my friends love the Kanto callbacks, because we love references to when we first got into the series. Then you aren't a true fan if you're just going juat naively take this at face value. These callbacks were designed soley to pander to people who haven't played a Pokemon game since gen 1, i.e. Pokemon Go players Darklit_Minuet posted... It's a great nostalgia blast. We love the new, but we also love the old. I don't want fucking nostalgic bullshit shoved down my thoat, if I'm buying a NEW game Pokemon game, I want NEW Pokemon whose designs aren't completely half assed and not OLD Pokemon reskinned to act as Pokedex filler and so they don't have to create as many new Pokemon which is exactly what happened this gen Darklit_Minuet posted... Why is it a f*** you to the core fanbase if the core fanbase loves this? The core fanbase doesn't love this, the core fanbase does not want garbage designed soley to pander to casuals so they can put in less effort and still rake in dosh --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
