Heller v D.C. was a major indicator of the dangers of a liberal justice system.

Heller v D.C. was a decision that was decided by one vote that citizens of D.C. had the right to own a firearm in their home. Since it was a constitutional question if it had gone the way of liberal interpretation it would have effectively killed the second amendment.
