No because all conservatives are not alt-right.


The alt-right isn't really conservative at all. It's a white identity politics movement with many anti-conservative views.

They want to be viewed as conservatives though. I've noticed that when talking to alt right people on here. They insist they are conservative despite having political views that are polar opposite of actual conservative viewpoints. I think that's why they want to be "new right" now. They feel it gives them legitimacy.


Of course people on the alt-right want to think their group is larger than it is. A lot of the people who self-identify as the alt-right don't even know what the term encompasses and aren't actually alt-right. They just think hating SJWs and posting Pepe memes fits them into that group, when it doesn't.
