Ok, maybe Obi-Wan won't be flipping around fighting sith lords, but there's plenty of material for a lower-stakes, character-driven story.

Guy just had his world turned upside-down overnight. His friends are dead or in exile. He just (thinks he) had to kill his suddenly-evil best friend. He's gotta live on desert crimeworld for the next ~20 years.

Oh, and then there's the ghost of his old master showing up to teach him the secret to immortality.

Lose the action scenes (well, maybe have a couple related to Hutt criminal movement or sand people raids) and there's a movie hiding here that I'd be happy to watch.
