I'm sorry you got that impression. Not sure how when I directly said that Democrats have their issues, but then again this ties into my comment about how moderates tend to be intellectually dishonest.
Still, my second post directly referenced reasons why I view Republicans worse than Democrats, and I have yet to hear any examples Democrats have done on that level.

Because honestly when you label yourself as liberal or conservative, it's a lazy way of saying "I don't feel like thinking enough to have individual opinions, I just like this general political philosophy." If someone played only Xbox games and said Don't is destroying the video game industry, wouldn't that qualify them as a shitty fanboy? Cuz that's what you're doing.
Saying Democrats have a few issues but Republicans are problematic to the well being of the entire world is again exactly what I was saying about having no perspective. The fact you can't see how slanted and melodramatic that is, and the fact you think that's a fair assessment of American politics is the issue with political extremism.

For example. I hate Republicans. They're backwards thinking, moral policing, gun worshippers. But that said, despite not liking them, I wouldn't make a grand statement like they're a danger to the world or this nation.
At the same time, I hate Democrats. They're politically unrealistic, restrictive of businesses, and also do their own moral policing for different reasons. Yet I would venture to say if Democrats ran the country for 30 years, it really wouldn't matter much to me.

The big point here is I don't believe any normal, individually-thinking human being just conveniently reaches a set of conclusions that Team A's opinions are all borderline evil, but all my conclusions perfectly line up with Team B. And if you think moderates are elitist for thinking that, go ahead. George Washington himself warned against this shit, and over 200 years later, it seems pretty spot on since both sides have become more and more polarized to a boiling point. And we now have a reality TV host for president, so lol, well done political parties.
