Topic | Chick-Fil-A has a stand in the new Falcons stadium, but won't be open on Sundays |
Esrac 08/17/17 9:53:26 AM #27: | Asherlee10 posted... I never really understood this concept with Chic-fil-a. I get that they are a 'Christian' company, but not everyone that works there is a Christian, in fact, some might be Jewish and would rather have Saturday off and would happily work on a Sunday. You said it yourself. They're a Christian company. Being closed on Sunday to observe the Sabbath is part of their Christian values. They aren't closed on Saturday for hypothetically Jewish employees because they aren't a Jewish company. They don't observe the Jewish Sabbath. Sure, maybe not everyone who works there is a Christian, but if you work for a private Christian company, you play by some Christian rules when it comes to the job. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
