I love it when things like this get sensationalized, it really shows the lack of cognitive thinking that people approach things with.

Like, even on the absolute surface level, do you think that Chik-Fil-A was somehow unaware that football generally happens on Sunday and had accounted for those sales when they ran the projections to see if it would be a good business decision.

But even just a little more thinking into it and you realize that a football team only has 8 home games in the regular season, maybe 2 pre-seaon, and maybe 2 postseason. Pre-season game days vary wildly, post-season is as likely to be on Saturday as Sunday, and even the others have potential to fall on Monday or Thursday. While football is likely the highest revenue maker for the stadium due to high ticket prices, most of the vendors make their money all throughout.

I've also seen people laughing at the Falcons and the stadium which is absurd as well. Why would they care if someone wants to pay them and not use it? As a vendor Chik-Fil-A is unlikely to be equipped to serve more than a few percent of a full capacity venue anyway, so even when they are closed there would still be plenty of other food.
