Plenty of power punchers get it with more violence than technique, like George Foreman, and plenty get it done with smooth transitions and excellent footwork, like Sugar Ray. A few, like prime Tyson, get it done with both. McGregor is in the first camp foremost, but he has a real knack for accuracy and the instincts to attack after a stunning jab or counter.
Actually landing a punch on Mayweather is the problem.
McGregor is not a boxer, in terms of boxing he has no power. MMA has no applicability to boxing. Forget what he did in UFC. In boxing he has no power. ---
