Does a bad rep really stick like that? I have a hard time believing it follows her to the point where even small things set off a wave of ill will and nasty rumors.
Could very well be that she was a bitch to work with. It works exactly the same in any profession where you're looking for hours/exposure that seniority and being a good worker get you more.
And is it unlikely that someone like this would look for excuses as to why they felt mistreated? People who think the world is out to get them and never examine their behavior. I know you've all experienced what I'm talking about.
Could very well be that she's telling the truth, but that would implicate so many people in a pretty blatant sex scandal, and a lot of people that kept it to themselves. Where were the parents? Basically, I don't buy it without any evidence. The fact that she gets shit years later for minor infractions leads me to believe she might just be difficult to work with
Reputation is LITERALLY everything in entertainment. Beyond a certain (shockingly low) point, talent doesn't matter and it's all about being well-liked. If you have a good reputation, you get the good gigs. ---
