No matter what reasons you conjure up for the cause of the civil war all the characters involved are assholes and traitors to the human race. The fact is that slavery should have been abolished from the moment the line "all men were created equal" was written. All Americans were complicit in the act of oppression. The founding fathers were white supremacists who called themselves patriots while their countrymen were enslaved by other countrymen. Traitors to their declaration and traitors to the human race. No one gives a fuck what Robert e lee felt he did the deed he must reap what he sew. If he was as brilliant as nut slurpers say he was he would been far more effective in facilitating peace and saving the lives of those he feltmore important than himself on the union side ending the rebellion sooner. The fact is there are very few American influencers who deserve to be in a pantheon of positive humanity. They've all bargained with racists at the expense of the oppressed --- ^_^ ...
