We live in an age where games come in bundles, sometimes to the point of literally being worth a dime a dozen. Tons of musicians, artists, video creators, etc put their works up on the internet for free just in the hopes of getting noticed. In the internet age, replication, distribution, and even creation are all easy and cheap. There's enough free entertainment out there that would last anyone several lifetimes.
