Does it count as a spoiler if you have no idea what's being spoiled, though? Like can something like "he dies at the end of the movie" count as a spoiler if I don't give any hints as to what movie I'm talking about?

As long as you don't give enough defining characteristics of the movie that it's impossible to determine I think that might be fine. But you'd have to be extremely careful about making sure there's no possible context in which that specific movie could be linked. For example, if the main character dies at the end of a blockbuster hit that just came out last week, and you make a post saying you just saw "a movie where the main character dies at the end", I'd say that's enough to break the rule. Context is really important.
