Personally I would say that's more of a result of the actions of the police. They show a man, left him dead on the ground for an extended period of time, then basically clammed up when people wanted to know what happened. It's the lack of transparency that was the boiling of that pot. It's true that people often comment on things they don't have all the facts of. That doesn't mean someone is trying to justify anything. It doesn't necessarily have to be politically motivated either. Incidentally? The utter silence form the police is what causes shit like that to happen. When you refuse to say anything, when you leave everyone in the dark, people are going to start making their own conclusions. It's like if your girl is mad at you, and you ask her why. She responds "Why do you think I'm mad?" and refuses to explain herself further. You're naturally going to make your educated guess on what info you have. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
