did you grasp the idea that they were in the street, actively stood in place to chant, and are effectively blocking the road from the distant chant there? if so my bad. i didn't when i saw the short clip of it, going back a minute gave a better idea of where they were and what they were doing.

As for the why, that's not really a car that can go through multiple other cars. He went as far as he could go.
