If your employer doesn't, might be time to look for another job When I worked as a chef I did not get any kind of paid vacation. :( Lack of decent benefits and whatnot is what inspired me to look for a new job (which is why I'm in college now). Right now I'm working as a caretaker for my mother so that my father can actually focus on his much-better-paying-job. What I was working at before this was at Walmart where one of my coworkers (who had been there much longer than I was) couldn't even get time off for college exams, because Walmart refused to give him those days off. --- Disagreeing with your criticism doesn't make me a fanboy; disagreeing with your praise doesn't make me a hater.
