It took him a few years to get out of the bottom third, and even his two best performances are surrounded by mid-40s finishes. As such, his STATS hover near the middle. With this finish, Jecht drops from 52.82% to 48.20%. Unfortunately, there's a pretty big logjam around the 50% mark, so he drops 9 spots from 41st to 50th, just below fellow crazy dad, Dr. Cid. This hard boot hurts him more in the New Era (post-Raytan) STATS because he hadn't had a bottom half finish in the previous five contests, and he got to reap the benefit of his top 10 and top 15 finishes as well.
