I know when I was 18 for example, despite being lower class with no college prospects, despite my dad and step-mom being in the Navy, I had *zero* fucking interest in ever being involved with the military. I'm 33 now, still as jobless and devoid of an education today as I was back then, but I don't regret my decision to avoid enlistment in the slightest because I *know* I would have abhorred the experience and come out worst off then I am now in the long-run. --- Les aristocrates a la lanterne!
