How do you define athleticism without including mental exertion? It's kind of a big deal to know what move to make in every sport.

I would argue that "sports" such as football, basketball, tennis, etc, all require both physical and mental exertion, while esports involves just mental exertion.

esports require a decent amount of physical exertion (there's a reason that competitive Melee players are slowly destroying their hands over time), and more importantly, a very large amount of physical finesse, which is more important than exhaustion when you look at what events the Olympics typically has.

Not sure amount it being in the Olympics though. It's still pretty young and I'd like to see certain games codified as esport standards first (LoL is close).
