I think they're only still around for people who are uncomfortable about shopping online (old), poor planners who need a cock ring in the immediate future and can't wait for shipping, and freshmen frat pledges. Yes, dissolving toys can happen, but is easily avoidable if you pay attention to what material the toy is made of and pay attention to the cleaner/lubrication. Don't use silicon-based lubricants with toys containing silicone.
