Leon I completely get the place from which you're coming, but I can assure you "some people" is actually literally the only TWO people with that kind of influence, one of which doesn't participate anymore (Sir Knight), and one of which is gonna hold that clout regardless (Former Fantasy Despot). I've been saying over the last two days (ask gauntlet Discord and v_charon) that my glory days in Save Mys are over with; actually, it's far more likely that Tidus winning was a fluke than that he won almost entirely due to my charisma. Yes prev/next-contest alliances did help, but Tidus still needed enough natural popularity to get that far. I really can't get into a long discussion about this right this moment, but in a nutshell I really do think this needs to be reopened to a community forum sometime, even if it's for next contest and not this one.

That's just it though: when it's a one-on-one agreement between two parties and no one else there is no "BEST OFFER". I can offer Koala this hypothetical deal, but then... I dunno- Jeff can offer the exact same thing with Cloud next contest, whom Koala likes more I'm certain and completely negate me. I'm not going to one up Jeff and offer both my own and v_charon's support of Vincent- or Inviso's or Ermine's or PlasmaKappa's because frankly I have no control over anyone but myself, so it really just comes down to Koala's preference there. I mean... I can't speak for the community, but I think there's a gigantic difference there that needs to be explored.

That's my two cents.
