I met a lot of people who were in that situation and tried to clean up before getting there. Just don't give in to the "one last hoorah" feeling toward the end. That, depending what the substance is, can often be fatal (people whose tolerance was down to zero used something on the level they normally would). It really is fucked up how they handle these clinics. Some people can buy their way in to fix their shopping addictions, while heroin addicts gamble their lives in a daily basis, waiting to be accepted. --- Trump 2020 ... Copied to Clipboard! |
