Basically, the game auto-saves behind you as you go. He missed lighting a torch that allowed him to progress further, and the game autosaved behind him, basically prohibiting him from progressing further. It was disappointing because he was actually really liking the game, and would have given it at seven or eight out of 10, but he couldn't give it that good of a score when he ran into a game breaking problem. Still, the rest of the game sounds pretty good. For anyone wondering, he gave it a 1/10 as a final score despite not finishing the game.
