Well, at least, I figured that the whole "Viking Romanticism" of the Nazis had something to do with the adoption of Norse/Germanic runes, as well. I could be wrong about that, but it's pretty clear that the Nazis didn't base the swastika on the Japanese symbol. I looked it up earlier and Wiki said Hitler based it on the ancient Germanic sun symbol, which would be closely related to the Germanic rune, anyway. That being said, I don't know where the common ancestry is and they are all fucking sun symbols, anyway. I just wanted to point out it had nothing to do with the Japanese. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
