But our biology is generally intent on reproduction and the furthering of the species and so it stands to reason if all these species are displaying similar reproductive behaviour that it's a biologically founded social construct. There's nothing to say we can't evolve past that or ration that it's defunct, but it seems counter productive to assume it isn't biological when there's zero evidence to express that theory. --- I'm bad at Maffs.
