I have the same problem with real life religion in comics, especially in the DC universe when so many aliens are practically Gods themselves. Christian or Islamic theology just doesn't fit in such a Universe. There's also no need for a Muslim character, let alone one named after a rogue terrorist state that is responsible for genocide.
