I mean...seeing how much channers tend to fumble with twitter...(complain if you right click them and check their timeline) no, not really. Twitter is a place where you can follow famous people, and send messages to them, and occasionally they respond. There's definitely also an IRC chatroom aspect of it. But the core attraction to twitter is like...the exact opposite of an anonymous forum--everyone is not equal in anonymity, exactly the opposite; fame levels are staggeringly unequal. Famous, powerful people like the president of the united states is there, not anonymous, and might respond to or retweet you. --- Cats land on their feet. Toast lands peanut butter side down.
