StealThisSheen 08/06/17 5:35:37 PM #94: | I think it's better this way, to be honest. In Splatoon 1, if one team was decently more popular than the other, it was almost impossible for the less popular team to win, which killed incentive to play. And they tried to counter it by having wins count for more and more (Originally it was win% x2 + votes, then win% x4 + votes, then win% x6 + votes), and it was kinda just getting ridiculous and broke things in the opposite direction, so then the more popular team could almost never win And frankly, ice cream had the popularity even MORE skewed in its favor (76-24 vs. 73-27) and won, so the system isn't really broken like people are suggesting. Mayo just had a better ratio of better players. --- Seplito Nash, Smelling Like the Vault since 1996 Step FOUR! Get Paid! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
