Which annoys me, because they're sometimes by people who don't even play games, and frequently by people who have never made a game in their life. So it comes off as "hey what you're doing looks fun, but it'd be better if it were about meeeee" when nongamers demand we represent them. No problem with devs who do reach out to other cultures or come from unfamiliar cultures.
