Like if you are telling them something that doesn't seem to make much sense, it is better if the employee questions it. I'd be more understanding in that situation, of course. I can identify when we're going out of our usual MO and we'd need to explain But it was a simple and direct order I coordinate a driver service operation, and I asked him (quite nicely) to relocate to a different spot for me, because another driver had become unavailable (but he doesn't have to know this and it's not part of his job to know) This is not out of the blue and it's not uncommon for us to move people around "Why" I'm still fuming --- im a good person ...
