Officer pulls a car over for speeding, is so concerned after seeing the passenger make a motion to reach under the seat after asking them for their papers that he holds a gun on him for over 9 minutes until backup arrives.

I like this part of the response from the police department justifying it:

We understand that it is never a comfortable position to have a gun pointed at you, regardless of whether it is a police officer.

While yeah this IS kind of ridiculous, at least no one got hurt. I wish the officer that murdered Castille could have just held the gun at him instead of shooting him 7 times

To be fair, somebody is more likely to keep a gun under a seat than papers. >_>

It seems a little obsessive, but it's a step in the right direction. He didn't shoot.
