In baseball, the batting stats are usually shown with 3 decimal places. So for example, someone with a .353 batting average is typically said as "batting 353" or "has a three fifty three batting average". 353 is representative of hitting the ball 35.3% of the time So if someone is batting 1000, that's actually represented with 1.000 .100 is 10% I hope all that is correct --- ...
