I would tell anyone to run far far far away from any guy who shows signs of violence or lack of restraint

Before meeting me, my gf was dating a guy who was a semi-pro football player. Apparently he was nice to her but there were times that he'd totally lose control and start throwing things around the house, punching walls, etc. One time it scared her more than usual and she dumped him. I think if she hadn't done that she'd have a few broken noses

There's no cure for people who have violent streaks. They're going to lose control, then regret it and apologize, then do it again. It never ends.
