A 2010 report from the Economic Policy Institute, for example, found that immigration increased the wages of native-born workers by an almost half a percent between 1994 and 2007.

I feel like I'm missing some kind of significant context here if this is supposed to be a supportive argument. Seriously, a half percent over 13 years?

Also I thought English became the US' official language during W. Bush's presidency. I'm not remembering wrong, I'm seeing numerous articles saying the Senate passed it back in 2006, what happened after that?
