Michael Crichton
Philip K. Dick

This man has good taste.

MC has probably the very best expository writing style I've ever seen in fiction, and I greatly appreciate that he doesn't wadte pages and pages on descriptive garbage.

I've read somewhere around 60 PKD short stories, and most of them have been amazing. Check out The Last of the Masters, Upon the Dull Earth, If There Were No Benny Cemoli, Breakfast at Twilight, Foster, You're Dead, The Variable Man and Time Pawn for sure.

I've never read any of his short stories, I'll have to check them out. I've read The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and A Scanner Darkly and they were fantastic.

And yeah, Crichton is amazing. He always did so much research to give his books authenticity. You end up actually learning something from most of his work.
