Topic	I just started season 3 of GoT

I think the show has lost some of it's edge going past season 4. It's gotten decadent, and hasn't been showing its ingenuity that makes plot developments shine like it used to. The direction of the show has been clearly established at that point, and its gotta do the end-game stuff it intended to do. It no longer mulls around small details and contemplation that actually have profound effects when things happen. Don't get me wrong, It's still an intriguing show. For me it's insanely inconsistent. It's terrible one season, amazing another.
