This is old news. Several spin offs are in the works. And we know this because atlus apparently reserved website domains for several sites with P5X titles.

P5R is called Persona 5 Red by the fandom. I don't know why they settled on "red," but there's already been months of speculation over what it might be.

Nothing was officially announced until now, and something being trademarked or whatever doesn't necessarily mean it's coming into existence.

Also, P5 Red because the entire fucking game uses a black and red color scheme.
