Like anyone actually, truly cares about the safety of complete strangers half way around the world. It gives people a nice warm fuzzy feeling to pretend they do, but most people can't even be bothered to wait for a light to change before crossing the street, let alone expend real energy on a hopeless struggle for total strangers in an entirely different country. You're probably more excited you got a jab on Proudclad in than you are concerned about the situation as well.
