| Dragonblade01 07/31/17 6:40:10 PM #176: | Human societies were religious for the simple fact that their mythologies allowed them to form bigger and more effective groups, and the human groups that didn't were either absorbed into those groups or died off. It's the result of natural selection in social evolution. We still use constructed mythologies today in dealing with the world around us; they just don't require a supernatural superman or superfamily anymore. SSJ-Spiderman posted...
