They started it during prohibition to save money. Iwin2013 posted... most people go out to eat for a celebration or to date someone. Incorrect. Most people go out just because they felt like it. Dates and celebrations and even lunch breaks together make up less than half of service at your average restaurant. Unlike you, I'm not guessing. Half a decade or so ago Darden Restaurants started asking guests why they come out to eat and "Every Day Meal" was the most common response by far. --- We are living in a world today where lemonade is made from artificial flavors and furniture polish is made from real lemons. ...
