That is not how this works.

Except that is how it works. Why should the majority (ex. those that believe in God) have to explain themselves to the minority? (ex. the atheists) considering believing in God is the de facto stance.


Because logic doesn't care about majority or minority.

Although, if you want to go down the ad populum argument... The large majority of people don't believe in most gods. There are hundreds of gods and pretty much everyone believe the grand majority of them are fake. Atheists just take it a little step further.

Point is, no matter what religion you believe in, more people think your religion is fake than people think your religion is real.
