Now, I'm not equating costs here like some outlets have done because that's ridiculous; the number of men vs. the number of transgender people makes it an unfair monetary comparison. But it's an optional "medication" that is paid for by us, the taxpayers. Where we differ here seems to be what you're willing to allow your tax dollars to go to, and what you're not. That's fine. I'm okay with paying for these surgeries and medications for any veteran. I'm honestly tired of arguing on here about it all.
