I'm saying I'm already paying high taxes to support an astronomical military budget, and eliminating this practice (by banning transgender people from service) will not in any way impact me financially, so that would be a pretty stupid way to justify my position one way or the other. You won't reap benefits from the military not paying for these operations. Besides, they chose to serve this country, and I appreciate their service and their willingness to lay down their lives for our freedoms if need be. So, if they want medicine and surgery, sure; go ahead.
