while i don't endorse people insulting you for no reason, don't be surprised that after ages of "CALLED IT TOLD YOU SO VINDICATED" people don't immediately accept you when you say you've changed. it's going to take time to get the goodwill of the regulars in this topic.

edit: also, your "i was never the problem" claim makes me think that you haven't changed, or at least not sufficiently. you need to realize you were, at the very least, part of the problem.
