Somebody doesn't understand the simple concept of secularism.


I understand that in theory the US is "secular" but when every president we've ever had is a Christian, that theory really means nothing.


No, that says more about how much power Christianity has in politics than it does about whether or not our government is secular.


Also the president isn't the only say when it comes to the country. Supreme Court can block things and they have done anti-christian things before such as their ruling towards Gay Marriage.

Electing Christian Presidents still doesn't make the US a christian country as long as the country is still practicing separation of church and state. Although there are christian influences in the US, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing as the bible does have some good messages in it.
