It has such a wacky nature about it, with such a cool vibe throughout. It doesn't take itself seriously but also kinda does....I dunno. Fun to explore, though and if you keep persistent notes it's very rewarding to get through. I never beat it, but think about it from time to time, as though it were a star-crossed lover. Vagrant Story is another one of those games that really outdid the system it was released on. It also helps it was a decent game, too. The story was just okay, but I much prefered the setting and atmosphere. The game required a lot of forethought and understand of the somewhat clunky weapons system. Sometimes it really felt like a chore to get through. But the game looked good! Those character models were really something else. I got so close to the end, but then fucked up somehow with weapon types and boned myself against a dragon boss,so I got real frustrated and rage quit.
