Its obvious these dogs can be dangerous, but banned outright? No. I do support laws or ordinances requiring training and/or a license to own the breed-- similar to those for people who own large/exotic cats. As said, the issue stems from those who abuse or neglect their poor dogs.

I am biased, however. My sister had her throat nearly torn out and another lady's limbs were essentially tore off all in the same hour from two dogs who escaped their owner's truck (my sister lived, all though the other victim died later from her injuries). The dogs were trained to be hunting dogs, and so obviously his attempt at training was wrong and needed to be corrected.
